Workshop #1 (14:00 - 18:00) |
GCP Refresher Course (in cooperation with awiso) On the recommendation of the Ethics Committees of the State Medical Chambers and the Working Group of the Medical Ethics Committees, the German Medical Association has now adopted a curricular advanced training course. In the issue of the German Medical Journal from October 7, 2016, it is specifically listed which topics must be included in which scope in the various investigator courses in order for these to be recognized. For example, participation in an AMG investigator course is not sufficient to qualify as an investigator in a medical device study. The refresher course is designed for main examiners and examiners who can’t demonstrate active participation in clinical trials after participating in an MPG basic course over a period of three years. In a refreshingly short course, important information about MPG, ICH-GCP, ISO etc. is recalled. Agenda:

Virtual & Augmented Reality in pediatrics and pediatric surgery Virtual and Augmented Reality are increasingly used in medicine. The speakers will present medical technology solutions for different areas of medicine (surgery, global health, etc.). The aim of the workshop is to find possible applications in paediatrics, e.g. for training purposes and simulations as well as for improved diagnostics and therapy, and to discuss possible solutions and their implementation in “clinical reality” (CR).
